Share The Dignitea High Tea at the Hilton Sydney – for a good cause

26 May 2024

We absolutely adore high tea, especially when it supports a worthy cause. Recently, we had the pleasure of attending the ‘Share the Dignitea High Tea’ at the Hilton in Sydney. While this event was charity-focused and doesn’t require a traditional review, it’s definitely worth mentioning for the support it deserves.

Share the Dignity is a remarkable charity organisation founded by Rochelle Courtenay, whom I had the pleasure of meeting at the event. The organisation began with a simple yet profound mission: to provide homeless women and those fleeing violence with their dignity back. Rochelle started by collecting sanitary items from her community to distribute to local shelters. From this initiative, Share the Dignity has grown into a registered national charity. The event

The high tea at the Hilton was a beautiful and heartfelt experience. We listened to powerful stories about domestic violence and women who had to leave their homes overnight without packing essentials. These stories highlighted the importance of the work that Share the Dignity does.

The experience

The high tea itself was wonderful and is now a staple on our annual calendar. The Hilton provided a fantastic venue, with delicious food and plenty of bubbly. It was an afternoon well spent, combining enjoyment with a deep sense of purpose.

Looking ahead

We plan to attend this event annually and encourage you to do the same. Keep an eye on our blog for next year’s date—you won’t want to miss a high tea for such a good cause. We also look forward to trying out Hilton’s regular high tea offerings soon, so stay tuned for that review.

Final thoughts

Supporting Share the Dignity through their high tea events is not just about enjoying a delightful afternoon; it’s about making a difference in the lives of women in need. Check out the photos from the event below and consider joining us next year.
